Francesca Aiello saw the silhouette on a beach in Malibu in 2012, couldn’t find it in any store, and spent the next several years figuring out how to make it correctly. The result is a bottom that has been worn by some of the most photographed women on the planet and copied by brands that couldn’t get there first.

The Frankies Bikinis swim bottoms collection has 20 current styles — the widest category in the swimwear range, reflecting the depth of design development that’s gone into getting these cuts right. Every bottom is designed to work independently with any swim top in the range, or as part of a coordinated set when the matching colorways align.
